General Questions

  • An escape room is a fun interactive adventure in which people are locked in a room with other participants and must use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set limit of time (one hour). Players must be observant, use their critical thinking skills, and cooperate as a team to escape the room and win the game. These games are great for couples, double dates, birthday parties, corporate team building events, and community organizations.

  • Owners Madison and Luke Rhoades are escape game fanatics who have played over 100 escape rooms together. With a background in theater, their games are high in production value with highly immersive sets built from the ground up.  They have created the next generation of escape games that is sure to impress new players and even enthusiasts like themselves.

  • Tickets are $32 per person.

  • Everyone in the group should arrive at least 15 minutes before their game starts. There will be a waiver to fill out before the game begins.

  • All games start on time. If you are late, the game will begin without you and no refund will be given. Players cannot enter or exit a game once it has already started. We recommend you arrive 15 minutes early.

  • Please dress comfortably, you may be required to crawl. There will be lockers for you to keep your belongings in while playing the game. Cell phones, pens, pencils, flashlights, and lighters are prohibited inside the game.

  • Each game is exactly 60 minutes

Ticket Questions

  • If you have already purchased tickets to reserve your game, additional guests can pay at the door when they arrive. Please note that 10 participants is our maximum for The Hex Room, and 8 participants is the maximum for The Fun House.

  • If you wish to purchase tickets online, the minimum number of tickets must be purchased (5 for Hex Room or 4 for Fun House). You can also call us at (714) 572-1004 and put down a 2-ticket deposit to reserve your date and time for THE HEX ROOM or a 4-ticket deposit for THE FUN HOUSE. This deposit is nonrefundable. The rest of your group can pay individually at the door when they arrive. Please be aware that The Hex Room is for 5-10 participants, and must have at least 5 participants for the game to function. If your group is under 5 players, you will not be able to play and no refund will be given.  The Fun House needs a minimum of 4 tickets purchased to reserve your space.

  • Because tickets reserve a specific date and time we do NOT give refunds to cancellations. If you need to reschedule your game, you must call 48 hours before your scheduled game. Tickets are not refundable, but you can transfer your tickets to your friends. Please see below.

  • Yes, you can transfer your tickets to a friend if they bring the confirmation sheet you received at checkout and come at the scheduled time.

Game Questions

  • Each game has different rules and a different number of players. THE HEX ROOM is for 5-10 players, although we recommend 6-7. THE FUN HOUSE is for 4-8 players. Please see THE GAMES for more details.

  • YES! Each of our games has a different age limit.

The Hex Room: Because the puzzles are challenging and the atmosphere is intense, only ages 16+ will be admitted.

The Fun House: This is a wacky, fun and whimsical game, and is open to all ages. The Fun House is designed to challenge adults. If you have anyone under the age of 13 we recommend checking out our alternative version, Fun House KIDS! Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult age 18+.

Anyone under our age restrictions will not be admitted and no refund will be given. Children CAN NOT be left unattended in the lobby. All participants must sign a waiver. If under the age of 18, a parent/guardian must sign a waiver in advance. Please go to the bottom of this page to download a waiver and bring it with you at the time of your game.

  • The Fun House is our original game and is designed to be challenging for adults. In Fun House KIDS! we modify our Fun House game and remove harder puzzles and replace them with ones that children ages 8-13 will enjoy. Children under the age of 8 can still enjoy the game, but might have a hard time participating in the puzzles. Now you can enjoy escape games with the whole family! At checkout, make sure to request the KID version. Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult age 18+.

  • Unfortunately, no. The Hex Room is unique in design and requires at least 5 participants for the game to function. It is also a private game, so you will not be able to join in on another group’s game.

  • Yes! But the minimum number of tickets (4) must be purchased to reserve your game.

  • Yes, each game has an integrated hint system. There is no penalty for receiving hints.

  • We are the only escape game that offers prizes for groups that escape! Just for playing your group will receive a special prize from Top Class Pizza or Stereo Brewing and an even better one if your group escapes! If you escape you also get the chance to purchase an “I escaped” t-shirt for $20.

  • The Hex Room is a physical game and is not recommended for those who are pregnant. The Fun House is more accommodating, and a better choice to play if anyone in your group is pregnant.

  • Yes. The door will be locked behind you. There will be an emergency button or exit door that can be used in case of an emergency, and will immediately end the game if used.

  • In The Hex Room, the smallest room is about the size of a walk in closet or an elevator. If this makes you feel uncomfortable, we do not recommend this game. The Fun House is a large game, and is suitable for those who are claustrophobic.

  • Touch everything, search everything, you never know where a clue could be hidden. Make sure to communicate with your team, let them know what you have found, and be involved with what they are working on. Lastly, pay attention to little details, you never know what could help you escape…

If anyone is under the age of 18 in your group, please download and sign the waiver by a parent/ guardian before your arrive:
